The Wedding of the Bribe and Broom

Hi!

The Broom, anxiously awaiting the arrival of The Bribe, sweeps away any worries about these hard times that might spoil the most important day of his life. Things are going pretty well for him and he knows that now is the time to help those less fortunate.

The Broom's mantra is: 'If you're lucky enough to be Irish, you're lucky enough'.

Like Irish Absolutely's friends, The Broom insists on having lots of fun while supporting our charities. Which is why we have contests and prizes on our site. Morley won our last contest for Irish Words and Phrases.

The Broom also knows more friends means being able to provide more support.

So The Broom seeks your help to widen our circle of friends by forwarding this email to your friends who have a soft spot for things Irish. Click here and the deed is done!

This way, your friends learn about our site, our Irish Cottages, our Irish Turf, new surprises to come, our Irish traditions... and join us for some fun.

But enough about The Broom.

HERE COMES THE BRIBE...!

With St Patrick looking down as we approach March 17 - when the whole world is Irish for the day – and in return for your helpfulness, when your friend places an Order for anything on our site, we will include at no cost one of our Irish Luck Penny Bookmarks! Remember, these are pristine Luck Penny Bookmarks – never known to fail - come in a protective sleeve and include a short background history.

Now comes the fun part. When your friend Orders anything from our site, we also send YOU one of our Irish Luck Penny Bookmarks for free! We even pay the shipping!

So we know it's you, simply ask your friends to put your name in the Shopping Cart under 'Special Instructions' when they place their Order.

Spreading Irish Good Luck makes us feel good. Naturally, we can only do this for free for a limited time. Otherwise we would quickly cease to exist! Our Special Deal is valid till February 14, St Valentine's Day...

We believe now is the time to offer a helping hand to those less fortunate. Click here to forward this email to your friends. They will thank you. So will I.

A Twist on Irish Words and Phrases

Hi!

If you haven't already visited our site, please take a moment and see the latest goings on. As always, we are grateful for your opinions and suggestions on our new layout, now officially "mobile friendly"!

You will see recent additions for our Irish words and phrases contest. Details on our site.

This week, we have added a bit of a twist. While we always welcome your own words and phrases, this time in addition, we are also adding a few words and inviting you to come up with your definition for them, put them in a sentence and, especially, your guess – or creative imagination – as to their origin.

Some suggestions of commonly used Irish words and phrases to get you started:

Mary Hick

Eejit

Go Spare

His Nibs

Of course you can use any existing Irish words or make up your own. Be creative!

Authenticity is always nice, but don't let that hold you back! Make up what you don't know and, most important, let your sense of humor go wild!

Remember, forwarding this email to some friends means that if they enter a winner, you also get a prize!
